Empuries and San Marti

Excavations of the ancient Emporion (Empuries) lie in the Southern part of the Bay of Roses. Here you may find remains of ancient Greek and Roman city and museum where archeological finds are preserved and the story of the area is explained in details.

The site lies between picturesque village of San Marti d'Empuries and L'Escala and may be reached from Empuriabrava by car within 20-25 min. The restaurants are located on a town's small square overlooked by XI-th century church.
